Transfers and Conference

Hey everyone!!!!

So this past week has been super crazy, one of the busiest of my mission. Pretty much the main focus of my week was all on transfers. We received transfers Wednesday night, but before that we had already been in the office a bunch of times to start doing things to prep for transfers. So we received transfers Wednesday night at around 8 and immediately got to work finishing that night at around 10 or 11. Because I don't have a lot of time to be trained, Elder Tarver gave me a super brief rundown and then let me handle everything. Kind of like throwing your kid in the pool so he can learn to swim.

So we came in the next day, Thursday, right after studies, and we worked all day buying tickets, planning, and organizing. We took about a half hour lunch break and then got back to work finishing around 10:30. We repeated that Friday, finishing prepping and buying tickets Friday night.

Saturday morning as soon as President gave the approval, I sent out the info to the zone leaders, and they started making plans to help make sure that everyone has a companion while traveling. They finished that after about 2 hours, and then I spent the next 5-6 hours revising the plans and making sure that no errors had been made. Needless to say, it's been a busy week.

Conference was so amazing! I loved this session so much. It was such a sacred and special opportunity to be able to participate in the solemn assembly. On top of all that, the changes they announced were so amazing. It really caught me by surprise, but it's so easy to see that it is revelation from God. The new ministering and the elders quorum combination is going to be such a huge help for some of the smaller wards and branches that I have served in like Laguna and Ferrol. I really loved priesthood session, too. Every time that President Nelson talked, it was so easy to feel the power of his words.
A Giant Easter Egg!

I'm sorry but I have to go, we need to head to the airport to get some missionaries. I love you all!
